Reuters: Trump is ready to submit a $ 2 billion weapons package to Saudi Arabia

At Biden's proposal, Saudi Arabia received access to advanced US weapons in exchange for stopping weapons from China and restricting Beijing investments. It is unclear whether the new Trump administration's proposal also includes such conditions.

The White House, the Pentagon and the Saudi government's communications office have not yet responded to requests for comment. In his first presidency, Trump identified the sale of weapons to Saudi Arabia as a useful move to employment in the United States.

Two sources informed Reuters said Lockheed Martin may provide advanced weapons systems, including C-2 transport aircraft. One of the sources added that the company will also provide missiles and radars to Riyadh.
