A society that does not go on progress is doomed to recession

According to Mehr News Agency, Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani, in a meeting with Mohammad Islami, head of the Atomic Energy Organization, said scientific progress was one of the pillars of human civilization and emphasized: “If a society does not go through the path of progress, he would be doomed to the recession.”
He cited the narrations of the infallibles (AS): If nuclear energy is effective in maintaining the health of society, it is a necessity.
The imitation reference also pointed to the advantages of nuclear energy over fossil fuels, saying that this clean energy can help reduce air pollution, especially in metropolitan areas.
He went on to compare the cultural situation of Iran before and after the revolution: Before the revolution, there was a kind of disappointment in society and people were constantly hearing that “we cannot”, while Iranian intelligence is recognized globally; After the revolution, this misconception changed, and the country was on the path to scientific and technology progress.
