Hojjatoleslam Abbas Ali Grazin, in an interview with Mehr reporter, congratulated the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing the importance of the Qur'an and its role in creating peace and guidance.
He said: The Qur'an is the best shelter for man and the house in which the Qur'an is recited will be light and is safe from disasters.
Referring to the successful implementation of the first phase of the Qur'anic National Movement, “Living with the verses” last year, he added: “The movement began with the participation of 5 million people and about 2 million were able to maintain the selected verses.” This widespread acceptance showed that our society is thirsty for pure Quranic teachings.
The Director General of Islamic Propaganda Golestan announced the start of the second phase of the movement during the holy month of Ramadan and said: This year, the new verses that are spiritual, identity and thoughtful are to be promoted in the community. The goal is to keep people preserve or meditate on a verse daily.
“If 5 million people participated in the project last year, this year we can reach more than 5 million in the country and hundreds of thousands in Golestan province,” he said.
Hojjatoleslam Grazin went on to point out the positive effects of this Qur'anic movement in reducing social harm and increasing the spiritual security of the community, saying: This year's central verse of the project is a verse that emphasizes endurance in the way of God. Wherever we persevered, we saw its blessings in various fields of science, technology and cultural.
He urged people to help spread this luminous culture by creating Qur'anic domestic circles and encouraging children and adolescents to preserve and meditate on the Qur'an. He also invited benefactors and enthusiasts to support the project and provide awards for adolescents to provide them with more participation.
