Professor: Banks are short in paying for housing and marriage facilities

In a conversation with Mehr reporter, Alireza Nassari, in evaluating the process of implementing laws related to childbearing, youth housing, marriage facilities and family protection, said: Support laws such as youth of the population as well as the granting of housing, marriage and childbirth facilities are very good, but the funds should be considered.

He added: “If the facilities are not considered, the result is that there are several thousand housing facilities in banks, but have not been paid yet.”

The representative of the people of Nahavand in the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: On the other hand, according to the youth law, the population was decided to transfer free land to households with 5 children and more to build housing, but the implementation of the law has not been properly implemented.

“We define the laws well, regulate, adopt and communicate, but in practice and implementation we see that these laws do not reach the intent,” he said.

“We had no problem paying marriage facilities before, but when we increase the number of marriage facilities regardless of its income resources, we lose the ability to pay for applicants,” Nakhari said. There are now many people in the queue for marriage loans and childbearing.

Criticizing the banks' underdevelopment in paying for housing and marriage facilities, the MP said: “Because the benefits of these facilities are low and their repayment period is long, banks do not perform their duties to pay for these support facilities.”

A member of the Parliamentary Committee on Civil Affairs added: “Some banks are busy with the business and are looking for loans that can recover twice the following year.” While many people are in support of support facilities, banks can easily provide their subsidiaries and economic groups. This will continue until we get the banks out of the corporate.
