pollution index 125; Unhealthy situation for sensitive groups

According to Mehr News Agency, according to the announcement of the Tehran Air Quality Control Company, the average air quality index of the capital is now at 125 and the air quality of Tehran is unhealthy for sensitive groups.

Also, during the last 24 hours, the air quality index was at 160 and the air quality was in an “unhealthy” condition for all groups.

Since the beginning of the year, Tehran has had 5 days of clean air, 177 days of acceptable air, 85 days of unhealthy air for sensitive groups and 14 days of unhealthy air for all people.

Meanwhile, during the same period last year, Tehran had 9 days of clean air, 185 days of acceptable air, 77 days of unhealthy air for sensitive groups of society, and 10 days of unhealthy air for all people.

Tehran Air Quality Control Company advised: People with heart or lung disease, elderly and children should avoid long or heavy activities outside the home. Other people should reduce prolonged or strenuous outdoor activities.
