In an interview with Mehr reporter, Mohammad Nazeri stated: As soon as the news of the disappearance of tourists in the “Helt” Strait was received, an emergency meeting of the city's crisis headquarters was held in the presence of the governor, the police chief, the head of Hilal Ahmarpoldakhter community, and the Efrain district governor.
He noted: With the efforts of Lorestan's rapid response teams, the rescue and rescue teams of Kohdasht and Poldakhter cities, the divers of Khorram Abad fire department and the police force of Poldakhter, and usually the tourists were moved up from the Helt gorge to a height of 150 meters.
Governor Soudan, who was present at the place, added that one of the tourists named Mohsen Lahoti, son of Yaser from Hamedan, died and four other tourists were saved.
He added: The rescued tourists named Reza Abdi, son of Javad, Hossein Sadeghi, son of Hadi, Ebrahim Ezzati, son of Abbas, are all from Hamedan, and Meisham Yasawel, son of Qasim, is from Tehran.
An observer noted: The injured tourists were transferred to Imam Khomeini (RA) hospital in Poldakhtar by five emergency ambulances and the Red Crescent, and the end of the rescue operation was announced.
