The need to cooperate with Islamic countries to stop the genocide of defenseless Palestinian people

According to Mehr News Agency, Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Arakchi spoke on Tuesday evening with Algerian Foreign Minister Ahmad Attaf on bilateral relations and regional and international developments.

In this telephone conversation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, referring to the intensification of the crimes of the Zionist regime in the occupied Palestinian territories in Gaza and the West Bank, as well as its ongoing attacks on Lebanon, called for increased cooperation and coordination between Islamic countries to stop the killing and genocide of the Palestinian people.

Algerian Foreign Minister also expressed his concern over the need for effective action by Islamic countries and the international community, expressing concern over the continued insecurity of the region by the Israeli regime and condemning the killing of innocent people in occupied Palestine.

As for the cooperation between the two countries in the international arena, Ataf also emphasized the importance of strengthening the cooperation between the two countries in international assemblies and at the Islamic Cooperation Organization to protect the rights of the Palestinian people.

The Foreign Minister of our country informed the Algerian counterpart of the latest developments in Iran-US indirect talks.

Iraqi also praised Algeria's principled stance on Iran's nuclear issue during a recent UN Security Council meeting.

Algerian Foreign Minister also condoled condolences to the families of the Islamic Republic of Iran, regretting the explosion incident in the Shahid Raja'i port.
