Palestinian official: 80% of the northern part of the Gaza Strip has been destroyed

According to the Mehr News Agency, quoted by the Palestinian “Arab 48” news site, Naji Sarhan, the Palestinian Deputy Minister of Public Affairs and Housing in Gaza, warned: Israel's attacks have destroyed 80% of the northern areas of the Gaza Strip.
According to him, in the midst of this widespread destruction, more than 300,000 Palestinians are homeless in northern Gaza.
Sarhan warned that with the return of refugees from Gaza City and northern areas from the south and center of the Gaza Strip next week, according to the ceasefire agreement, humanitarian pressure will increase.
He asked the international and regional institutions to take quick action to meet the urgent needs of the refugees, because the reconstruction of the northern part of the Gaza Strip requires huge efforts and extensive international support.
Despite these challenges, Sarhan emphasized: We are determined to rebuild northern Gaza better than before. This is a collective task that requires global support.
Meanwhile, humanitarian aid continues to flow into the Gaza Strip.
The United Nations has reported that since the implementation of the ceasefire agreement, more than 2,400 trucks carrying humanitarian aid have entered the region.
This organization also announced: 808 trucks carrying humanitarian aid have entered the Gaza Strip only today, Wednesday.
