Tehran hospitals are connected to the subway lines; Passive defense attachment for subway lines

Ali Nasiri, head of the Tehran Crisis Prevention and Management Organization, in an interview with Mehr reporter, in response to the question whether Tehran will be safe? He said: “Despite this significant growth in the budget and actions taken, it is not yet possible to say that the city of Tehran will be completely safe.” The complete safety of a city requires much more investment.
Nasiri said: However, the process that has taken place in recent years has grown very well. If these policies do not stop in the future and pay attention to the city's immunization remain a priority, one can expect Tehran to become a safer and more prepared city to deal with crises. If this trend continues, the quality of life of citizens will be improved and the risks of urban events will be significantly reduced.
He discussed how passive defense attachments in urban projects, especially in the field of safety and security: Today, passive defense attachments are not only limited to security, but also involve safety issues. In urban projects, determining which projects require passive defense attachments are examined carefully. For example, last year, four projects were evaluated to determine which one they needed.
Nasiri added: “Important urban projects are now fully attached to passive safety and defense. For example, lines 1, 2 and 2 of the metro, as well as line 1, which will be implemented if the contract is concluded, will go through the early stages of the design, taking into account the passive defense attachment. The consulting companies that operate in this area pay attention to these issues.
The head of the Tehran Crisis Prevention and Management Organization continued: One of the important aspects of this issue is the connection of the city's hospitals to the metro lines. At present, some important hospitals are not connected to the subway. In order to solve this problem, a separate project is defined in which the two hospitals, Milad and Ba'ath are prioritized. For this project, the budget has been specified and intended this year. Although there is a problem of liquidity, there have been correspondence with the mayor recently, hoping that this will be resolved.
