North Khorasan on the eve of snowfall and lowering temperatures

In an interview with Mehr reporter, Nourbakhsh Dadashi announced the issuance of an orange level alert, the arrival of the precipitation system and the tangible decrease in temperature in North Khorasan.

He added: “The system will arrive in North Khorasan from late Wednesday and will be active until late Friday.”

He added: Snow and rain, heavy winds, fog and tangible temperature decline are among the expected phenomena during this period.

North Khorasan Meteorological Director General pointed out that the intensity of rainfall is forecast on Thursday, stating: Waterfalls, road slippage, vehicle traffic disruption and the possibility of blocking some of the province's highways are not unexpected.

Dadashi also announced a 5 to 5 degree decrease in air temperatures in North Khorasan and said: “Due to the cold weather, there is a possibility of frost and damage to agricultural facilities and crops.”

He advised citizens to avoid unnecessary trips during this period and to ensure the strength of temporary structures and the readiness of their heating equipment.
