Khuzestan Governor criticized the condition of cleaning and urban furniture in Ahvaz

Report Reporter SealSayed Mohammad Reza Mawalizadeh said at a meeting of Khuzestan Travel Executive Headquarters on Saturday evening: “Taking urban cleaning, timely collection of waste, reforming urban furniture and organizing city entrances can improve urban conditions for Nowruz citizens and travelers.”

He added: “The task of the mayors is to observe these.” This is not a beautiful situation for citizens. When we see the situation in other cities of the country, we find that many of them are ahead of Ahwaz and other cities of Khuzestan in cleaning and reforming urban furniture.

The governor of Khuzestan also called the high cost of fruit and vegetable in Ahwaz very worrying and said that this situation is not tolerable. Monitoring the supply of fruit and vegetables should be daily. It is meaningless to hold meetings and approve the unauthorized approvals.

Mawalizadeh criticized the absence of Ahvaz mayor at the meeting and said: “The absence of Ahvaz mayor in this meeting is not justified.

He also criticized the absence of the head of Ahvaz University of Medical Sciences and the director of the Khuzestan Red Crescent Society and called for the examination of these absences.

The governor of Khuzestan described the situation of urban management in Ahwaz as catastrophic and said: “I have no political problem with the mayor of Ahvaz, my problem is construction.” The construction waste of Ahwaz should be collected. This situation does not deserve citizens.

He emphasized: Municipalities should, instead of day -to -day management, deal with urban issues with an active and program -oriented approach and make tangible changes in the lives of citizens.

Mali Zadeh also pointed to the inadequate system of collecting waste and waste in the provincial cities, saying that the system inappropriately annoys people and needs urgent reform. The mayors should enter into the issue of cleaning the cities, collecting garbage, organizing urban furniture and reducing visual disturbances.

Khuzestan Governor emphasized: The effects of our meetings in all areas should be tangible and the result is quickly seen on the floor of the community. If the meeting is held and tomorrow the outcome of the session is not specified, it is better not to meet. Our people are waiting for the outcome of these meetings and we should not disappoint them.

Khuzestan Governor said: It is now a good opportunity for municipal staff across the province to reform the status quo.

Pointing out that the issue is not raised, he added: “I do not have a political problem with the mayor of Ahvaz, the issue of development, service and public satisfaction.”

The criticism comes as Ahwaz, as the center of Khuzestan province, faces numerous challenges in the field of urban management and public services.
