Ja'farqoli: The goal of the Cooperative Foundation is to increase inmates' employment of 5 %

According to Mehr News Agency, Nasser Jafarqali, director of the Iranian Prisoners' Cooperative Foundation, said: “The employment of prisoners associated with the Cooperative Foundation is currently more than 6,000 people, which should reach 6,000 people this year (about 5 % growth).”

He added: Much of the criminal population eligible for prisoners must be covered by productive employment and enjoy its benefits appropriately.

“We are not convinced of the current status of the Cooperative Foundation in creating productive employment and producing effective income for prisoners, and we are looking to promote tangible and visible promotion by planning and using the capacity of private sector entrepreneurs and investors,” said the director of the Prisoners' Cooperative Foundation.

He noted that Fars province is one of the top four and largest provinces in the country, noting that the activities of the Prisoners' Cooperative Foundation are prominent and successful and the continuation of its growing trend will consolidate its position as a leading and privileged province.
