According to the Mehr correspondent, six months after Hamed Haddadi's decision to say goodbye to the national basketball team, the basketball federation is set to hold an official ceremony for him and his farewell. The ceremony is expected to be held on Friday (March 6th) as the Iranian -Indian national teams were met in the third window of the Asian Cup.

It was said that Hamed Haddadi will play for the Iranian team in this match and make his last match for the national team. In fact, the program was one of the proposed options for the Basketball Federation to say goodbye to the myth of the field, which was eliminated by Haddadi himself.

“We wanted to say goodbye to Haddadi during the official game and while he is wearing the national team's uniform,” said Javad Davari. We made the offer with him, but he did not welcome it.

He said: Haddadi's preference was to say goodbye to the game. So we also did not insist on our proposed option to provide conditions as Hamed loves.

The president of the Basketball Federation emphasized that in order to hold a farewell ceremony, Hamed Haddadi had a correspondence with Fiba and there is no problem with Fiba.

The match begins in the third window of the Asian Cup at 9pm on Friday (March 6th) in the Live Hall of Mahmoud Mashhad.
