New York Times reporter claim: Iran is ready to negotiate directly with the US

According to Mehr News Agency, New York Times reporter Farnaz Fasihi said on his official page on X -Social Network: Three Iranian officials have told me that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States are due to hold a meeting in Oman on Saturday to begin indirect talks.

He said: According to these sources, Tehran informed Washington that if positive in the first round of the negotiations, it would be ready to enter a direct dialogue – an action that is a sign of a clear change in Iran's diplomatic approach.
