Iraq: Sudani's trip to Iran was important and decisive

According to Mehr News Agency, Iraq News Agency (WAA) announced that “Basem Al-Awadi” in an interview with Al-Iraqiyya news channel, evaluated the visit of Prime Minister Mohammad Shia al-Sudani to the Islamic Republic of Iran as an important and fateful event.

He clarified that this trip was carried out with the focus of examining the developments in the region and discussing these developments with Iranian officials, especially the events in Syria.

Al-Awadi emphasized that it is very important to pay attention to the memorandums of understanding and agreements signed with neighboring countries.

The Prime Minister of Iraq traveled to Iran yesterday morning on a one-day trip at the head of a high-ranking delegation consisting of several ministers.

During this trip, Al-Sudani also met with the Leader of the Revolution, the President and the Speaker of the Parliament.
