Head of Iran’s Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute Hamid Kahram said the center is going to triple production of anti-snakebite and anti-scorpion sting serums.
He said that serums produced in the center are regarded as the best ones in the world in terms of quality.
Iran is going to increase export of the serums as it raises the products output, he continued.
He noted that each vial of anti-snakebite serum worth over $100 which equals two oil barrels.
According to Kahram, Razi Institute and an Indian serum building center are going to expand cooperation in exchanging know-how.
Razi Institute is going to share technology of building vaccines of measles, rubella and mumps with an Indian company.
