Iran’s Qomi meets Chinese representative for Afghanistan

During the talks, the two sides emphasized the need for countering terrorism, need to strengthen the initiative of the Regional Contact Group with the aim of establishing peace and stability and preventing the divisive foreign interventions in Afghanistan.

Back on September 9, Qomi, who was previosuly Iranian president’s special envoy for Afghanistan, said that Islamic Republic of Iran is resolved to complete the border wall with the neighboring countries of Afghanistan and Pakistan.
