Iran’s Army testing smart missile with 300 km range

Tehran (ISNA) – The Commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces announced that the army is testing a smart missile with a range of 300 kilometers.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a military conference on Sunday, Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari referred to the capability of the Army’s Ground Forces in the field of artillery, rocket launchers and rockets and said, “Army’s Ground Forces missile unit is testing a smart mid-range missile to evaluate its accuracy and power”.

Regarding the operational coordinates of the missile, Brigadier General Kiomars Heidari said, “It enjoys pinpointing, intelligence and automation capabilities and is ready to defend the borders of Iran in different weather conditions”.
