Iranian poetry is mixed with national and Islamic identity

According to Mehr correspondent, Hossein Ali Amiri said at the closing ceremony of the 19th Fajr Poetry Festival in Shiraz: During a meeting with Fars province officials with the Supreme Leader, the leadership mentioned the three words of culture, religion and epic from Fars province.
He continued: “With a look at the nature of Fars province, we will find that Fars province is known as a cultural province in the world and the glory of world literature can be seen in poetry.”
Fars governorate added: Poetry has special meaning and concepts that represent the splendor of literature and poets can use the pure and special interpretations of the glory of literature to the world.
Amiri reiterated: In Islamic Iran, poetry is mixed with national and Islamic identity, so this capacity must be exploited and preserved throughout the history.
