Khuzestan Emergency Ready after earthquake in Hosseinieh

According to the Mehr correspondent, the emergency department of the province has been fully ready after two consecutive earthquakes near the city of Hosseinieh in Khuzestan province. The first earthquake measuring 3.4 on the Richter scale and the second earthquake measuring 3.5 on the evening of Tuesday, February 23, 2008, respectively, at 9:30 and 9:50 pm local time.

In addition to the ready -made Andimeshk emergency bases and the activation of special codes, all cities' emergency bases near the earthquake are also in full. The necessary arrangements are being made at the provincial emergency headquarters to send support teams and will be dispatched quickly if needed.

The Bidroubeh Emergency Base, the nearest emergency base at the scene of the earthquake, is evaluating the surrounding areas and providing the necessary services to residents. No reports of casualties or financial damages have been confirmed so far, but the evaluation teams are thoroughly investigating the situation.
