Iran has condemned new US sanctions on Cuban

Ismail Baqaei wrote in his X social networking account: “The US addiction to bullying and boycott has targeted an independent nation that is determined to safeguard one's self -determination and maintain its independence and dignity.

The United States imposed a new set of sanctions against the Cuban people in the wake of the criminal policy of the Cuban economic siege.

We explicitly condemn these unilateral acts that violate the fundamental principles of international law and the fundamental human rights of the Cuban people.

Such cruel and illegal actions will never affect the will of the people and Cuban leadership to stand up to US domination policies.

“Iran, which has been and has been exposed to illegal US sanctions for decades, has expressed solidarity with the Cuban people and the government and wishes them the increasing power and sustainability against US illegal actions.”
