Iran, Algeria to keep on close collaboration in OPEC and GECF: Oil Min

Owji stressed that Iran and Algeria would continue their close collaboration in GECF and OPEC, adding he had constructive negotiations with his Algerian counterpart and this cooperation would lead to good results.

Algeria’s Mohamed Hamel is 64 years old and has 39 years of experience in various energy sectors. Holding degrees in engineering and economics, he is currently the senior advisor to Algerian , Mohamed Arkab. He also served as the senior advisor to the secretary-general of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) for five years and as the head of the Energy Studies Department at the OPEC Secretariat for seven years.
