Injury to a firefighter following widespread fire in Islamshahr


According to Mehr News Agency, Jalal Maleki, a spokesman for the Tehran Fire Brigade, said: At 4:50 am today, after receiving a fire report from the Fourteengah Fire Department, three fire stations with water tankers and respiratory equipment vehicles were dispatched as auxiliary force from Tehran. Also, the four firefighters were present at the scene.
He added: The fire had occurred in a workshop and storage complex with three 2 square meters of niches, with the basic supplies of the manufacture of dolls and toys such as sponge rolls, fabrics, plastic and similar materials. All the niches were on fire, and the ceiling of one of the niches was completely demolished, while the other two niches were on the verge of demolition and the fire was spreading to neighboring niches.
According to Maleki, firefighters started fire extinguishing operations in several directions with quick measures and proper operational measures and succeeded in controlling the fire. Unfortunately, one of the firefighters was injured and was handed over to emergency agents, but fortunately none of the workers and staff in the complex were damaged.
Maleki said at the end: At around 9:30 am, after the fire was completely extinguished and part of the stain, Tehran's firefighters handed over the scene to the four firefighters and returned to their stations.
