Holding the traditional ceremony of cooking Ash Haleem in Golshahr's 200-year-old old Hosseinia

Referring to the 200-year-old tradition of cooking Ash Halim, Mehdi Yavari said in a conversation with Mehr reporter: It is held every year between the last Friday of autumn and the first Friday of winter in the old Hosseineh of Golshahr.

He continued: This ceremony, which has been held for a long time with the intention of asking for rain and snow, was registered in the list of intangible heritage of the country on January 30, 2017 with number 1719.

He added: In this traditional ceremony, 40 large pots of Ash Halim are cooked and at the end it is distributed in the old Hosseinieh and the surrounding villages. The preparations for this ceremony started two months ago, and people's offerings, including wheat and other items, are collected from their homes.

The managing director of Ward Patkan Association noted: This religious ceremony, which is recorded in the solar calendar, has been of special interest to people and tourists, and the TV documentary “Sofera Khoban” has also been dedicated to introducing this ritual.

It should be noted that due to the wide acceptance of the people and the existence of suitable infrastructure, this ceremony should be held in a more magnificent way with various programs and local food stalls to strengthen its cultural and tourism aspects.
