Health tourism conference is an opportunity to attract Iraqi tourists

According to Mehr reporter, Seyyed Mohammad Reza Mowalizadeh emphasized the importance of this event for the economic growth and development of the province on Saturday evening in the coordination meeting of the health tourism conference and called for the improvement of medical services in order to attract health tourists from Iraq.

Mowalizadeh said: We must try to revive the profitable capacities of health tourism by providing quality medical services and increase the longevity of health tourists from Iraq.

He also announced that Khuzestan province is fully prepared to hold this conference and will use all the necessary facilities.

The governor of Khuzestan emphasized the need to improve health conditions and the quality of services in medical centers and added: service costs for health tourists should be reasonable.

Mowalizadeh pointed to the lack of necessary infrastructure in the province and said: “Unfortunately, this has caused Iraqi patients to go to other cities for treatment.”

He also emphasized the necessity of providing suitable tourism and medical facilities and said: holding this conference requires effective media and advertising work.

The governor of Khuzestan further pointed to the role of this conference in reviving the capacities of the province and said: “The conditions of hospitals in other provinces are better, but we do not have a problem with the presence of specialist doctors and nurses.”

He also pointed out the need to pay more attention to the health of hospitals and provide health tourism facilities in the cities of the province and added: holding a tourism conference in Khorramshahr can help the development of health tourism in the province.
