Hamas statement about the Doha negotiations and the actions of the self-governing organization in Jenin

According to Mehr News Agency, quoted by Al Jazeera, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) issued a statement condemning the continuation of heinous crimes committed by the Zionists against the defenseless people of Gaza.

It is stated in this statement: While 455 days have passed since the beginning of the Gaza war, the criminal Zionist regime is still carrying out genocide, ethnic cleansing, and forced displacement of Palestinians. Meanwhile, these crimes are taking place with the cooperation and complicity of Western governments, including the United States and England.

This statement emphasizes: We have witnessed the worst tragedies and crimes committed by the Zionists in the last 15 months against the healthcare system in Gaza. In addition to completely besieging Gaza and preventing the entry of medical and humanitarian items into this strip, the Zionists are also targeting medical centers.

Hamas announced the continuation of indirect negotiations between this movement and the Zionist regime in Doha today for the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza and the exchange of prisoners between the parties to the conflict. This round of negotiations is focused on reaching a complete ceasefire agreement and the complete withdrawal of the Zionist forces from Gaza.

Referring to the brutality of the Zionist regime against the medical centers in Gaza, this statement adds: We once again request the World Health Organization and the World Red Cross Organization not to give in to the pressure of the occupiers and take action in defense of the Palestinians. We want international observers to be sent to the hospitals in the Gaza Strip and protect and prevent the occupation regime from continuing its crimes.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement has clarified about the recent crimes of the Zionists: During the past day and night, the Zionists have carried out at least 34 attacks on different areas of Gaza, during which at least 105 civilians were martyred.

Criticizing the Palestinian Authority based in Ramallah, Hamas adds: The security agencies of the Palestinian Authority are committing a crime in Jenin. They use sieges, killing civilians, and arresting and torturing them. Such actions are only in line with the interests of the Zionists and their malicious plan is to end the Palestinian resistance in the West Bank.

Referring to the negotiations with the Fatah movement and the Palestinian Authority, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance expressed hope that due to the flexibility that Hamas has shown in the negotiations, the efforts to form a community support committee within the framework of the Palestinian political system will be completed.

Based on the plan of the generals, the Zionist regime seeks to create a buffer zone in the north of Gaza, and for this purpose, the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians from this region has been placed on the agenda of the Zionists.

Earlier, the Zionist army raided Kamal Adwan Hospital, the only active medical center in northern Gaza, arrested patients and medical staff, and set fire to this hospital. There are currently no active medical facilities in the area to provide services to civilians.
