Governing body of Afghanistan should explain about attacks on Iran’s diplomatic missions: Amir-Abdollahian

(ISNA) – Following yesterday’s attacks on the missions of the in Afghanistan, Iranian called the ambassador of the of Iran in and the country’s consul general in to make sure that all colleagues working in these missions are healthy.

In these telephone calls, the expressed his dissatisfaction with the lack of necessary arrangements to ensure the security of the diplomatic missions, which is the duty of the host country.

Amir Abdollahian referred to his recent talks with the acting minister of foreign affairs of the interim government of Afghanistan in .

He stressed that the current governing body of Afghanistan is fully responsible for maintaining the security of the diplomatic missions of the Islamic Republic of Iran and should provide explanations about the attacks on the Iranian in Kabul and consulate general in Herat.

The Iranian foreign minister added: We should be careful about the conspiracy by common enemies in this regard.
