Gharib Abadi: The Agency team comes to Iran but does not visit the facility

According to Mehr News Agency, Kazem Gharibhabadi, deputy director of legal and international affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, announced that Iran has agreed to visit the Agency's technical board to Tehran for the next two to three weeks.

According to the Russian news agency, Gharibabadi, who spoke to reporters on the sidelines of the UN meetings in New York, emphasizing the need for new talks with the Agency in the current situation: “In the new circumstances, the way the obligations require new conversations with the Agency.” This is important.

He added: “In this regard, we have agreed to visit the IAEA Technical Board to Iran to travel to Tehran within two to three weeks to discuss cooperation framework.”

Gharib Abadi also referred to Iran's nuclear policies: In the issue of enrichment, Iran will enrich uranium according to its needs. We have to be able to do all that we need.

Responding to a question about the possibility of announcing voluntary enrichment as a good gesture, he emphasized: “We have a bitter experience in this field and we cannot rely on a third party.”

Gharib Abadi emphasized that the IAEA technical board would not visit Iran's nuclear facilities.
