Gharagozlou takes silver at 2024 IBSF World Snooker Championship

TEHRAN – Iran’s cueist Ali Gharagozlou lost to Muhammad Asif of Pakistan in the 2024 IBSF World Snooker Championship final in Doha, Qatar on Wednesday.

In a thrilling final of the Championship, Asif defeated Ghareghozlou 5-3 to claim the title.

Asif won the IBSF World Snooker Championship for the third time.

Reigning Asian champion Gharagozloo advanced to the semi-finals by defeating India’s Sourav Kothari 4-1.

He also defeated Egypt’s Mahmoud Elhareedy5-0 in the semi-final.
