According to the Mehr News Agency, citing the public relations of the Basketball Federation, due to the internal problems of the Hormozgan Steel Club, this team was withdrawn from the continuation of the Iran Men's Premier League, and from now on, this season's matches will be followed with 11 teams.

Hormozgan Steel Club had asked the league organization to give the team two weeks to fix the existing problems, but it failed to do so, and finally it was removed from the competition by the decision of the league organization.

According to the announcement of the league organization, the Hormozgan Steel team was removed from the competition table and all the points of this team, including the points obtained by other teams in the matches against Steel, will also be removed from the table of competitions.

According to the regulations of the league organization, Foulad Club is required to pay the full amount of the contract and also compensate for the damages.
