Fire was contained at the Tehran Bazaar's Office of Bazaar

Jalal Maleki, a spokesman for the Tehran Fire and Safety Service, told a Mehr reporter: At 4:50 pm this afternoon, a fire in an office in the Green Square area, the Great Bazaar Square, was reported to the system. Immediately, four fire stations were dispatched to the scene with full equipment.

He added: Firefighters arrived within 5 minutes and observed that in a three -story passage, mainly located for the goldsmith's class, an office of approximately 2 square meters was set on fire on the second floor.

Jalali continued: Initial investigations indicated that the fire had begun from a gas cooler that had been exceeded as a result of excessive electrical load and electricity issues. The fire was spreading to the equipment in the office, including tables, chairs and other supplies.

The firefighters immediately began to fight the fire and succeeded in completely containing the fire, the fire spokesman said. Some smoke was reported on the same second floor and on the upper floor. Fortunately, there was no case in the incident, but some of the people in the passage and workplace were taken away from the site and moved to a safe place by firefighters.

At the end, he added: “After the staining and immunization operations, the site of the accident was delivered to the owners and experts and the fire forces returned to their stations.”
