Counterfeit coins were arrested in Tehran

According to Mehr news agency, Sardar Ali Qasimpour, the head of the prevention police of the capital city, announced: When the owner of a gold shop went to the police station of 113 Bazar, he claimed to have bought some gold coins from two men and then realized that the coins were fake.
This police official stated: After the filing of the case, the investigation of the matter was placed on the agenda of the 113 Bazar police station's operation team, and after police searches and field investigations and the use of modern police methods, the identity and hiding place of these accused were identified.
The head of the prevention police of the capital city said: after obtaining permission from the judicial authorities, the police operation team went to the hiding place of the accused and arrested both of them in a surprise operation, and during the inspection of the place, they found 2 coin presses, 30 types of coin frames. In different dimensions, about a thousand fake silver coins, about five thousand special cards for the press of different types of coins with the names of different banks and exchanges, about a hundred sheets of 18 Thai Hologram Fake, 20 sheets of 10 Thai Hologram printing, all kinds of tools and coin payment were discovered and confiscated.
He clarified: After being transferred to the police station, the accused confessed to their crime of minting and selling counterfeit coins, and upon completion of the case, they were transferred to the Greater Tehran Intelligence Police for further investigation.
