According to Mehr News Agency, Babak Mahmoudi, head of the Red Crescent Society Relief and Rescue Organization, referring to the favorable operation of the Red Crescent Society, said: “With the equipping and modernization of the country's relief fleet, our ability to provide relief is at a very good level.”

Referring to the operational capability of the Red Crescent Rapid Reaction Teams, he continued: “The launch of the rapid reaction teams is a hope for the people and the Red Crescent to appear on the scene in the event of accidents.”

Mahmoudi expressed concern over the lack of serious reaction teams in some provinces, saying: “In some provinces, this issue is being bent and there is still no specific place for these teams.” Especially in the women's discussion, some provinces have not yet had a serious entry. It should be seriously addressed.

The head of the rescue agency suggested that in the next step, the Red Crescent branches also be equipped with rapid reaction teams.

Mahmoudi also pointed to the performance of the search and rescue teams last year, adding that the search and rescue teams performed well with good organization and proper training.

He further emphasized the organization of human resources and added: “The organization should be done in a clear and transparent manner and people are divided into active and caution. Information about these people must be recorded in the systems.
