17 billion and 160 million tomans of zakat were collected in South Khorasan

According to Arab, 12 billion and 750 million Tomans were in cash and 4 billion and 410 million Tomans were non-cash.

He continued: With the collected zakat, 8 sets of dowries were donated to the under-privileged people, and medical expenses were paid. 1288 For patients, 140 cases related to education expenses, 5 cases related to housing, 22 thousand 390 cases related to livelihood and 835 other cases have been provided.

Director General of the South Khorasan Relief Committee, referring to the cost of zakat in 15 construction projects, stated: Also, five mosque projects, eight hosseinieh projects, and two kitchen projects of the religious board have been completed and spent in the province.
