Consolidating Iran -Turkmenistan's economic relations; Transit and energy agreements

According to Mehr News Agency, Farzaneh Sadegh, the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of our country today (Friday, April 21), visiting Turkmenistan, meeting with the daughter of Turkmenistan's leader, with Rashid MarodovThe Secretary of State met with the two sides discussing transportation cooperation as well as technical -engineering services and its issuance.

Issues related to electricity, gas and energy with Turkmenistan were among the other issues that officials from Iran and Turkmenistan today discussed.

There are also talks on transit corridors, cooperation in rail, road and other transport areas in Turkmenistan.

It is worth mentioning that today the authorities of the two countries examined numerous areas of cooperation in all economic and commercial areas, and the Joint Commission's Schedule was set at the meeting.

It should be noted that, according to the decisions, it is planned to host Tehran and Turkmenistan in the last week of May, hosting Tehran, which is set out in this Joint Commission, the Road Cooperation Roadmap, the Road Development Roadmap, as well as the two countries' cooperation maps in the field of energy.

The meetings will also be attempted to sign new cooperation documents along with the Joint Commission on Cooperation in the two countries.
