He added: “After the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini's special view of helping humanity and humanity made the Red Crescent population a great deal of development, and our organization has expanded both in terms of manpower and facilities. So today the Iranian Red Crescent Society is one of the best countries in terms of basic facilities; Of course, some specialized equipment that is to make some specific countries is not available to us, but we have good facilities.

He continued: Last year I was among the heads of rescue organizations in the country, and when I explained the situation of our organization, all the countries were surprised at our situation, and even the Secretary -General of the Red Cross said after my talk that I traveled to Iran three times and that I had no other rescue and rescue organization in the world. The missions are divided between different organizations.

Mahmoudi said: “Overall, the Rescue Organization, in terms of its duties and missions, holds 2 % of the total Red Crescent population budget and is used in different sectors.”

Performing 7,000 rescue operations last year

He added: Last year, a total of 6,000 rescue operations were carried out by the beginning of March, followed by 1,600 people. Also, 1,600 people received relief services and the rest were taken to hospitals.

He added: 2 % of these operations are related to road accidents, 2 % of mass rallies such as Arbaeen hiking, 2 % of climate and climate accidents, 2 percent for mountain accidents, 2 % water accidents and 2 percent for other cases.

Mahmoudi said: Most of the incidents last year occurred in Isfahan, Mazandaran and Golestan provinces and unfortunately last year, 2,800 car overturns occurred in Kerman, Fars and Isfahan provinces.

In addition, cars should be equipped, which costs twice the cost of the car equipment, and about $ 5 billion is the cost of the equipment we have to put in, and we hope that these money will be allocated.

Establishment of 2 Red Crescent Bases on Roads and 2 Cities in Cities

“We have more than 5 road bases that are providing services,” Mahmoudi said. We have over 5 bases in cities and about 5 crescent houses that serve in remote villages and areas.

“We have 6,000 rescuers and rescuers throughout the country, of which 6,000 are ladies,” he said.
