British media claims Assad poisoned in Russia

There has been an assassination attempt on Bashar al-Assad, The Sun claimed.

It claims Assad, 59, asked for medical help then almost immediately began to “cough violently and choke”, it said.

It further claimed that there is every reason to believe an assassination attempt was made.”
