Birthday; Babies in South Khorasan with Fertility Assistance Methods

According to Mehr News Agency, Mahyar Mohammadi Fard announced the birth of four babies in South Khorasan with the methods of assistance.

Birjand University of Medical Sciences, pointing out that the number of births after treatment in infertility centers in the province was 2 in the year, said: This has been the number of cases in the past six months.

Mohammadi Fard reiterated: So far, 2,800 visits have been registered to the province's infertility centers, with 2 cases of IVF, ICSI and IUI cycles.

He said the success rate of ICSI, IVF and IUI fertility methods was an average of 5 %.

Birjand University of Medical Sciences Deputy Director of Treatment said: In South Khorasan, the State Infertility Treatment Center of Level 1 and 2 is active in Birjand, Tabas and Ferdows.

Mohammadi Fard also stated that the principal agreement of the two state -run infertility treatment centers has been received in the cities of Qaenat and Nehbandan, which is in operation.

Mohammadi Fard added: “In the center of infertility, the early stages, including the identification and formation of the case, have been carried out and a successful IUI case has been carried out so far.”
