Bilateral consultations between Iran and Turkmenistan on Caspian Sea Affairs

According to Mehr News Agency, a joint meeting of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Turkmenistan, chaired by Alireza Jahangiri, an assistant to the Foreign Minister of the Caspian Sea and Morad Atajanov, the country's special representative in the Caspian Sea, was held in Ashgabat.

The meeting discussed the maritime boundary line, the line of limits of the fishing areas, the outline of the origin line, the restriction of the bed and the under the Caspian Sea, and related documents.

The meeting also discussed other issues, including the environment and the reduction of the Caspian Sea level.
