At least 3 people died in forest fires in central Türkiye

Yirikaya said four people are currently hospitalized for treatment.

Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakoli told reporters that the total number of fires has exceeded five since the beginning of the year, of which five have occurred in forest areas. He warned of the increasing threat of these fires by rising temperatures throughout the country.
