Assembly alongside the government to offset the damages of war; Ready to legislate urgently

Speaking to a Mehr reporter, Mohammad Seraj told Mehr reporter about the measures taken to compensate for the damage caused by war, including damage to manufacturing, industrial and residential centers, said: “The government's executive measures are clear and the budget law is also provided for critical conditions.” The government has so far taken measures to compensate for the damages caused by the two -day war.
Referring to the damages to residential homes in Tehran, he added: “Follow -ups on houses that have been hit by enemy attacks have been carried out and a division of work has been done between the Tehran Municipality, the Housing Foundation and the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development.”
Seraj continued: In the first phase of the crisis, the security and military forces were mainly acted, and after that, emergency resettlement was on the agenda, which the Tehran municipality took responsibility. Two liberation hotels and other hotels were rented to accommodate people whose homes were destroyed.
He also referred to the actions of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, saying: “The ministry made a proposal to the government, whereby each person whose home was destroyed and uninhabited, paid one billion tomans and $ 5 million monthly rent so that they would not be concerned for a year.”
The representative of the people of Tehran in the Islamic Consultative Assembly further said that after the evacuation of the documents, the excavation operations of the damaged houses from the war began and the residents of the demolished units would be given construction by obtaining the necessary permits from the Cabinet. Then, from the site of this density, the alternative units should be delivered to the injured.
He also emphasized the need to compensate for the damage of industrial and commercial units affected by the war: The parliament is pursuing these units as well.
Seraj pointed out: “If there is a need for new legislation to compensate for war damage, the Islamic Consultative Assembly is fully prepared to take action.”
He added: The Civil Committee, as the specialized commission of the matter, has held meetings with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development, the mayor of Tehran, the head of the Housing Foundation, the head of the Red Crescent Society and the head of the country's emergency department, and the necessary coordination has been made to compensate for housing damage.
A member of the Social Committee of the Islamic Consultative Assembly said: “In the Tehran Assembly, meetings have been held with the executive agencies, including the governorate and the municipality, and we are trying to resolve the problems with the necessary follow -up.” The government is completely involved in this issue, and the parliament will do its utmost to accelerate the compensation of the damages caused by the war.
