According to Mehr News Agency, Hojjatoleslam Mehdi Hadi, head of the Judiciary Research Institute, thanked the Bar Center, official experts and family counselors, saying that the transformation of legal jobs in the context of artificial intelligence is an emerging and very important issue that has not yet been sufficiently reviewed in the world.

He continued: The Judiciary Research Institute has extensive activity in the field of digital justice and part of this field is dedicated to digital power, which can be a turning point in the country's judicial system. The head of the Judiciary Research Institute, recalling the supreme leader's emphasis, emphasized the importance of special attention to the rights of artificial intelligence and its technical and ethical aspects, adding that if the country is lagging behind in this field, it will face serious restrictions globally.

Hojjatoleslam Hadi, in another part of his speech, pointed to the Qur'anic concepts of the right, justice and installment, saying that the final stage of justice is possible only with the active participation of the people.

The head of the Judicial Research Institute also considered the role of data in artificial intelligence technology and said: Data are known as artificial intelligence fuel and in international documents they are sometimes referred to as the heart of artificial intelligence. The head of the Judiciary Research Institute, criticizing the lack of data governance system in the country, said the vacuum has caused many problems.

Referring to the necessity of adhering to ethics in data management, he said: Data governance must be based on participation, accuracy and trust, all of which are ethical. He also described the culture of closing data in the country as an obstacle to the productivity of research institutes and universities.

Hojjatoleslam Hadi said about the laws on personal data and privacy: “The country lacks comprehensive and specific laws in this regard and this has raised many concerns.” He emphasized the formulation of comprehensive laws to protect the rights of individuals in the field of personal data.

The head of the Judiciary Research Institute introduced two important international documents as a guide to artificial intelligence activists: the UN General Assembly Resolution emphasizes the safe and secure use of artificial intelligence and the EU law focusing on the human and ethical dimensions of this technology.
