Animation in Iran is entering the industrial and economic phase

According to the reporter of Mehr, Mohammad Ali Basiri Nik talked about the production stages of the project and the challenges of the animation industry in Iran at the film animation meeting of Saat Jadooui (animated lantern of the 15th edition of Ammar Festival) on Monday afternoon.

The director of the “Magic Hour” animation, first referring to the beginning of his activity as the assistant director of the project, said: due to the change in the attitude of the team, I took over the direction of the project after a while.

He added: Animation in Iran has recently entered the industrial phase. In the past, this industry was considered mostly as an art and hobby, but in recent years it has seriously entered the field of industrial and economic production.

Basiri Nik also pointed out the problems in the production of the “Magic Hour” project and said: “This project took four years to complete.” At first with a team of ten no one We started and along the way new troops were added to the team and we trained them. Also, since the project started four years ago, we couldn't expect more up-to-date quality than when we started. However, we tried to use new technologies in the production process.

The director of “Magic Hour” animation also expressed about the content changes of the project: The project was rewritten twice and some sequences were reproduced. Although the project could have been released two years ago, the changes that occurred caused this time to be delayed.

In the end, Basiri Nik expressed his hope for attracting audiences for this animation and said: We hope that this project will meet the needs of its audience and that the efforts of the production team will be seen in this direction.
