China: We hope the suffering from Gaza's tragedy ends as soon as possible

He described the implementation of an urgent and sustainable ceasefire agreement in Gaza as a critical issue and said: “If the January agreement was fully implemented, it could have provided the way for the sustainable ceasefire and the return of all Israeli prisoners.”

China's permanent deputy representative to the United Nations has criticized Israel's military action to Gaza so far, stressing that the reality is that the military instrument is not a solution.

He also condemned the concern of the Zionist regime's occupation of humanitarian concerns and the collective punishment of the Gaza people.
