Careful monitoring of the implementation of the strategic water transfer plan from Taleghan Dam to Karaj

According to Mehr News Agency, the Deputy Director of Economic Inspectorate General of the country emphasized the need for careful oversight of the implementation of this strategic plan during a field visit on the implementation process of the water transmission line project from Taleghan Dam to Karaj.

During the visit that was attended by Mohammad Javanbakht, Deputy Minister of Energy and Ali Safari The Deputy Governor of Alborz Governorate and the project executives and executives were conducted, the latest state of physical and financial progress of the project was investigated.

Referring to the importance of this project in the supply of drinking water in Tehran and Alborz, the deputy director of the inspection agency called for accelerating its implementation process in accordance with technical and environmental standards.

He also emphasized the full support of the Inspectorate General of the country at the current critical juncture and avoided any unjustified delay in the implementation of the project and said, “The project must be exploited with maximum accuracy and quality to meet the water needs of the citizens.”

The project of water transmission line from Taleghan Dam to Karaj is being implemented to reduce the water crisis in Alborz and Tehran province and is expected to have a significant contribution to improving the water supply status after completion and operation.
