Cooperation of Urban Management and the Judiciary to counter the waste mafia

During this field visit, the subject of waste collected from illegal waste depot centers in Qamasr area and how the waste was managed was discussed.

The CEO of the Waste Management Organization submitted a report on the current situation, calling for the support of related institutions to deal with the phenomenon of waste, and the attendees also emphasized the need to interact closer to judicial authorities to enforce law and continuous monitoring as well as the need to organize unauthorized activities.

Facilitating the cooperation of the Tehran Municipality Waste Management Organization with relevant agencies, especially the judiciary and accelerating the implementation of sustainable solutions to prevent repeated violations of unauthorized waste in the field of waste, were among the other issues discussed.
