Necessity of effective measures to stop crimes in Gaza

According to Mehr News Agency, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, today during a meeting with Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and accompanying delegation, referring to Pakistan's special place in the Islamic world complex on the need for joint and influential activities of Iran and Pakistan to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime.

At the beginning of the meeting, the leader of the meeting expressed his satisfaction with the end of the war between Pakistan and India and expressed hope for the two countries' disputes, pointing to Pakistan's very good and strong position in the Palestinian case over the past years, saying that while in recent years there have been no temptations to communicate with the Islamic regime.

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, referring to the many capacities of the Islamic Ummah for greater authority in today's world, added: “When the world's warlords have a lot of incentives to create disputes and war, the only thing that can provide security for the Islamic Ummah is the unity between Islamic countries and promoting the relationship between these countries.”

He called the Palestinian issue the first issue of the Islamic world, pointing to the miserable conditions of Gaza: Gaza's situation has reached a point where ordinary people in Europe and the United States protest their governments by holding demonstrations, but unfortunately some Islamic governments are alongside the Zionist regime.

The leader of the Islamic Revolution, emphasizing that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Pakistan can cooperate in the Islamic world and get the issue of Palestine out of this wrong path, said: “We are optimistic about the future of the Islamic world and many events confirm our optimism.”

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also considered relations between Iran and Pakistan as warm and fraternal, referring to Pakistan's good stances during the imposed war as an example of these fraternal relations, the current cooperation of the two countries in different dimensions, and added that the two countries could help.

The leader of the revolution also emphasized the need for Iran -Pakistan's cooperation to become more active.

During the meeting, which was also attended by President Massoud Mediian, Shahbaz Sharif, while expressing his satisfaction with the meeting with the leader of the revolution, praised the positive role of the Islamic Republic of Iran for reducing the crisis between Pakistan and India, while expressing developments in recent clashes, referring to the Gaza issue and said:

The Pakistani Prime Minister also expressed hope that the trip would provide further expansion of relations between the two countries, referring to his good and constructive negotiations in Tehran.
