The fall of a 4 -storey building due to non -routine excavation in Tehran

Jalal Maleki, a spokesman for the Tehran Municipality Fire Department, told Mehr News Agency's social correspondent that the demolition of a residential building on Tehran's Hadi Street.

He explained the news: At 4:50 am today, a destruction of a residential building with the address of the Gulf Street, Hadi Street was announced. Immediately two stations were dispatched to the scene of the accident, and it was found that a four -storey residential building near the land was about 2 meters and a depth of about two meters.

He added: To the east of this excavation, there was a three -storey building, half of which was destroyed. Fortunately, the residents of the building had been aware of the number of cracks and noise in the walls and walls the day before, and all three families had evacuated and left the house. A few hours later the building was completely demolished and fortunately no one was under the rubble.

Maleki emphasized: After reviewing and ensuring that the people were not present under the debris, the agents were delivered and the operation was completed at 4:30 pm.

He emphasized that the consciousness of these families had prevented the disaster. He said: “These families did not risk harming themselves and left the family out of danger and prevented casualties.”

Maleki also said that in the excavations and buildings that are in the vicinity, the principles of safety and retrofitting walls and adjacent buildings should be considered.
