Death of Workers as a result of being caught in the well on Tehran's Shahrivar Street

According to Mehr News Agency, Jalal Maleki, a spokesman for the Tehran Fire Department, said: At 4:50 am this morning, a case of an accident in the well was reported in the well on Shahrivar Street, Takoli Street. Following the report, two fire stations were dispatched to the scene and arrived at the scene for four minutes.

He added: The site of the accident was a new building under construction that was completing the final stages of construction. In the courtyard of the building, a well was dug at a depth of 2 meters, and two workers with Afghan citizenship, one 5 years old and the other about 5 years, worked inside the well. According to witnesses present at the scene, no sound was heard after a while.

A spokesman for the Tehran Fire Department said: “Fire rescue teams sent a rescue force into the well after the necessary immunization.” After some time, both workers who were on the bottom of the well were out of the well. The approval of emergency agents revealed that both people died.
