Iraqchi: Our perspective for the Caucasus is based on respect for territorial integrity

“I had a very successful trip to Yerevan to review bilateral and region issues that are common or shared,” Mehr News Agency reported. The strong friendship of Iran and Armenia has been the product of centuries of common history, cultural heterogeneity, and the accumulation of confidence in each other based on respect and mutual interest.

“Our perspective for the Caucasus is based on respect for the territorial integrity and independence of countries, economic cooperation, and the lack of intervention by players outside the region,” the foreign minister said.

“Our neighbors are our priority,” he said.
